It has been seven months since Coronavirus pandemic broke out in the country, which brought everything to a halt. However, everything was opened eventually, but the cinema halls and schools were not allowed to open. In Unlock 5.0, the centre has also given nod for theatres and schools to re-open, treading cautiously.
As the country steps cautiously into the new normal, ground report from Kolkata shows what exactly it will be like to go to cinema halls now. In the list of new normal, face mask, thermal screening and social distancing have become the new normal. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was amongst the first ministers to give a nod for re- opening of the cinema halls. The sitting capacity however will be reduced.
