The shoot of Life OK’s popular comedy show May I Come In Madam? was halted on Sunday, April 2, due a massive explosion on the sets that led to fire. The horrifying incident took place on the sets of May I Come in Madam? at Film City in Goregaon, Mumbai, when high-intensity lights exploded, leading to fire. Luckily, the production team had fire extinguishers on the set, and they put off the fire.” She added, “The shoot was on halt for a couple of hours due to the incident, but thankfully no crew member suffered any burns or injuries.”
Actor Sandeep Anand, who plays the male lead of Sajan Agarwal on May I Come in Madam?, told Mumbai Mirror about the fire, “It was a huge fire but thankfully we had two extinguishers on the set and the fire brigade arrived promptly so no one was injured but there was some loss of property. The huge lights and the curtains caught fire and a major part of the set was engulfed in flames.” He added, “When we realised that the set had caught fire we tried beating out the flames with the two fire extinguishers but they weren’t enough. So then our light department got into action till the fire brigade arrived.”
