At a panchayat held in Muzaffarnagar, the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) passed a resolution claiming that anyone inviting BJP leaders to family functions as a punishment would have to make food for a hundred people.
While many BJP leaders have been banned from entering villages in Punjab and Haryana, in western Uttar Pradesh, this is the first time such a call has been publicly released. All three three regions have been affected by major demonstrations against the three farm laws. On Wednesday, in Sisoli village of Muzaffarnagar, the BKU panchayat was held.
