Farmers' tractor rally turned violent on Republic Day; Over 100 policemen attacked in Delhi

In the violence that erupted in Delhi on Republic Day at the tractor rally, it is estimated that over 100 policemen were brutally attacked by the protestors. Although the police tried to restrain a lot, the violaters continually thrashed them. The protestors violated all the agreements which were made between the police and protestors. Even after alerting the farmers of the infiltrators, they forced the Delhi Police to carry out the march. The Ministry of Home Affairs has been briefed by the Delhi Police Commissioner and there was a high-level meeting that took place at the residence of Amit Shah where many senior officials of the intel unit were present.
