Farmers' tractor parade: Delhi cops register 26 FIRs in connection to R-Day protest violence

The Delhi police have registered 26 FIRs in connection with the protesting farmers' tractor parade, which was held yesterday on the occasion of Republic Day to mark 60-day completion of the Dilli Chalo farmers' agitation and demonstrate against the Centre's new farm laws. However, things took a twist as violence soon broke out when the police and farmers clashed at the national capital. More FIRs are expected to be registered soon in lines of obstruction of government work, attacking policemen, damaging public and private properties, violating the COVID-19 guidelines and disobeying the NOC rules. The police are said to take strict action after identifying the culprits.
