Farmers’ stir: BKU chief among 21 suspects arrested for alleged attack on BJP MLA in Punjab

Days after the alleged attack on BJP's Abohar legislator Arun Narang in Punjab, the police have arrested 21 suspects which included Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) Muktsar president Sukhdev Singh in connection with the incident. On March 27, Narang was beaten up and stripped naked by a mob of farmers protesting against the Centre’s farm laws in Malout. Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh had ordered the police to carry out a detailed probe in this regard.
