Farmers' concerns were highlighted by BKU (Charuni) Haryana unit in a letter to Haryana power minister Ranjit Singh Chautala and Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) general director Shashank Anand on Tuesday. BKU (Charuni) Haryana national president Gurnam Singh Charuni said in the letter that if their demands are not met by June 25, the state's farmers will be compelled to adopt more drastic measures. Farmers' leader Rakesh Tikait claims that they will continue to protest until the restrictions are repealed.
