Farmers reach Red Fort; Tricolor flag taken down; Police resorts to lathicharge

The farmers who were protesting around the Delhi borders for close to two months now claimed that the tractor rally will be a peaceful protest and that it will only add more value to the pious occasion of India's 72nd Republic Day. However, the farmers seem to be failing their promise, as they tried to enter the Red Fort. Delhi Police had to use tear gas shells in order to disperse the protesting farmers, who tried to take down India's flag at the Red Fort. The farmers have replaced the Tiranga, with a flag of their unions. The farmers can clearly be seen holding sticks and trying to create a ruckus at the Red Fort and entered the place without any permission. Several of these farmers have come in with lathis and are also pelting stones at the Delhi Police. Watch!
