Farmers protests continue in Patiala, mass gatherings in Punjab Chief Minister’s constituency

In Patiala, farmers have started gathering right in the backyard constituency of Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh. Amid the rising mortality rate in Punjab, the CM has been urging the farmers to stop protesting, and not gather in masses. The farmers’ protest has been going strong for over six months now. This time, the farmers have started gathering right outside Captain’s house. The Bhartiya Kisan Union Leader continues to blame the state’s mismanagement and unpreparedness behind the rising number of Covid cases in the second wave and not the farmers’ gatherings. The leaders believe that the cases have been rising because of the poor health infrastructure in the state and the governments should stop blaming the farmers’ unions. Watch the video to know more!
