Farmers of J&K’s Samba struggle to sell produce during COVID lockdown

Samba (J&K), May 24 (ANI): Farmers in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba are struggling to sell their produce during the COVID lockdown. Vegetables are getting destroyed in the fields and they are unable to sell it. Farmer Ravi Kishore said, “We are unable to sell the vegetables and are getting rotten in the field. We are facing problems in maintaining our livelihood. We appeal government to extend the time.” Farmer Nirmal said, “We used to wake up at 7 and it is not possible for us to go to the market and sell the vegetables till 10 am. Everything is closed in lockdown no one is coming to buy.”
