Farmer Protests: 40 farm unions unanimously write to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson

A Group of 40 farmer unions reiterated their demands focused on repeal of the 3 new legislations. They have unanimously agreed to talk to the Centre on Kisaan Divas. They have added that they will be writing to the British PM, Boris Johnson who is set to arrive in India on 26th January. Their request will focus on convincing Boris Johnson that he refuses to be a chief guest for India on the coming Republic day until their demands are met. Furthermore, a committee of 5 farmers will be formed which will then talk to the government regarding the laws. The farmers who have been on hunger relays for days now look forward to talking to the government given the law is repealed. This has created chaos across the nation and has also resulted in various traffic jams leading to the partial shut down of many major travel routes.
