Farmer’s protest: Studies reveal the spike in death numbers could be due to ongoing protests

Amid the second wave of Covid-19 in India, the farmers’ protest on the borders of Delhi, Punjab, and Haryana continue to intensify. Data has revealed how there has been a 393% spike in death toll and a 4050% rise in the number of Covid cases. A number of farmers present at the borders travel back and forth from multiple places, this is leading to an increase in the daily numbers in the three states. They are becoming the carriers of the virus, and ultimately affecting people. In a recent update, the leaders have announced that they will continue with the protests until the laws are taken back.
