Teen climate activist Greta Thunberg, who recently extended her support to the farmers' protests against the three farm laws, has got a reality check from her ‘admirer’, Mohinder Gulati, former Chief Operating Officer, United Nations Sustainable Energy for All. Expressing disappointment over her comments on the farmers’ agitation in India, Gulati asked Thunberg to first educate herself and then issue statements on the contentious issue. He also apprised Thunberg of four key issues that she should carefully consider for an informed opinion on the subject. Through his letter, the ex-UN official tried to educate her on four issues related to India’s farming sector, that are Emissions from crop residue burning, Food wastage, water crisis and Corruption-controlled agriculture markets.
