Explosion in Patna School Leaves Three Students Injured

Three students were injured in a school in Patna, Bihar, when firecrackers lying in a rubbish heap on the campus exploded on Saturday morning. Police have ruled out the possibility of a bomb blast.

The explosion took place in the Urdu Kanya (Girls) Middle School at Lodi Katra in Patna. Senior superintendent of police Manu Maharaj said powerful firecrackers lying in the heap of rubbish on the campus exploded, causing burn injuries to three students.

The students were discharged from a hospital after receiving first aid, police sources said.
