Experts’ views during India Water Impact Summit 2020 to help enrich water sources: Jal Shakti Minister

New Delhi, Dec 16 (ANI) : The 5TH India Water Impact Summit 2020 organised by National Mission for Clean Ganga and cGanga has reached its conclusion on 15th December 2020. The week-long summit was based on the concept of “Arth Ganga'' - river conservation synchronised development. NMCG, cGanga have an objective to make India a world leader in river and water science. Union Jal Shakti Minister released a report on `Ganga Utsav 2020’. The event strengthened India’s international collaborations in the water sector. Experts from different countries participated in the summit to discuss natural water bodies’ dimensions. The virtual summit also showcased new technological innovations, research, policy frameworks and investment models. cGanga has been helping the Namami Gange project in the river rejuvenation process. River Ganga has significant economic, environmental and cultural value in India.
