In an exclusive conversation to us, Ayushmann revealed how the empathy-meter inside him went sky high while he was shooting for SMZS and for such an issue. When asked about the one thing which the actor learnt while shooting for SMZS, he said,
”I think with every film you learn something and it is not that you are always woke and aware. You discover a lot of things. Iss film me acceptance aur empathy zyaada badhi thi for the LGBT community and more than anything else, one hot to know how a typical Indian family gets to react after getting to know that their son has an orientation which is not heterosexual. I think the empathy factor was something which I realized while the shoot.”
