10 Sep 2018: Ex-Arsenal forward Nicklas Bendtner arrested for breaking taxi driver's jaw
According to reports, former Arsenal forward Nicklas Bendtner, was arrested in Copenhagen, Denmark for physically assaulting a taxi driver.
While the Police has refused to comment, Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet cited an unnamed source while reporting the incident.
The footballer had broken the jaw of a taxi driver on Sunday morning.
He was charged with violence but was later released by the Police.

A spokesperson of Copenhagen Police said that there have been incidents of attacks on taxi drivers in recent past, but refrained from commenting on any individual case.
Danish side Rosenborg, for whom Bendtner plays, have also not released any statement on this matter. The same is true for the Danish Association of Football.
The footballer was not available to throw light on the issue.

Bendtner started off at Arsenal in 2005 and was acclaimed as an exciting talent.
He was sent on loan to Birmingham City, from where he went on to represent Juventus, Wolfsburg and Nottingham Forest.
However, his drinking problems have been an issue for quite some time now.
He was left out of the Danish squad for the World Cup and UEFA Nations League.
