Efforts of young Sarpanch helped in mitigating COVID in Maharashtra village

Solapur (Maharashtra), May 29 (ANI): A 21-yr-old sarpanch Ruturaj Deshmukh helped bringing COVID count under control in Ghatane Village in Solapur district of Maharashtra. Speaking on the current scenario, Solapur Sarpanch Ruturaj Deshmukh said, “Since April, people were living in fear after COVID cases reported in Village. In a meeting with Gram panchayat we had launched an awareness drive for COVD-19 pandemic. We have tested about 60% villages under our campaign.”
