Enforcement Directorate officials have arrested NCP leader Eknath Khadse's son-in-law Girish Chaudhary in the Pune land deal case. He was called in for questioning and then was arrested. Girish Chaudhary was arrested by the central probe agency at 3 am on Wednesday after being interrogated for 12-13 hours at the office of the central investigative agency in south Mumbai, in connection with the Rs 4 crore land deal in the Bhosri area near Pune. Eknath Khadse, who joined the NCP last year, had stepped down as Revenue Minister from the then Devendra Fadnavis-led Maharashtra cabinet in 2016 after his name surfaced in the same land deal case.
