Drug controller's findings on Gautam Gambhir's hoarding issue rejected by Delhi High Court

On Monday, the Delhi High Court criticized the drug controller's status report on BJP leader Gautam Gambhir, alleging that he and others stockpiled necessary drugs to treat patients with the coronavirus sickness (Covid-19). The court dismissed the report as 'garbage,' saying it lacked legal support. Acting on a petition filed by Deepak Singh, the high court ordered Delhi Police to probe claims of hoarding of oxygen cylinders and medicines such as Fabiflu. After days of investigation, the police cleared Gambhir and nine others, including BV Srinivas, the president of the Indian Youth Congress (IYC), Harish Khurana of the BJP, and Dilip Pandey of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
