Jaipur, Dec 26 (PTI) Mount Abu was recorded the coldest place in Rajasthan at 2 degrees Celsius as several places in the state saw a drop of one-two notches in night temperatures, the Meteorological (MeT) Department here said on Saturday.
In plains, Churu, Sriganganagar and Pilani recorded 4.1 degrees Celsius each on Friday night, a MeT Department official said.
During the same period, the minimum temperature was recorded at 4.5 degrees Celsius in Sikar; 6.4 degrees Celsius in Sawai Madhopur; 7 degrees Celsius each in Banasthali and Dabok; 7.6 degrees Celsius in Alwar; 8.2 degrees Celsius in Bundi; 8.3 degrees Celsius in Kota; 8.4 degrees Celsius in Jaipur and 8.9 degrees Celsius in Ajmer, the official said.
The maximum temperature was recorded between 21 and 28 degrees Celsius at most places in the state in the past 24 hours. PTI AG CK
