Calcutta: Soumyajit Ghosh and Sutirtha Mukherjee on Thursday bagged double crowns in the DCPL National Ranking Table Tennis Championships (East Zone). While Soumyajit won the Youth Boys and Men's singles titles, Sutirtha won the Junior Girls and Youth Girls singles titles. Pooja Sahasrabudhe won the Women's singles title, defeating Poulomi Ghatak 7-11, 7-11, 13-11, 11-5, 16-14, 11-4. In the Youth Boys' final, Soumyajit Ghosh beat Harmeet Desai 11-8, 11-6, 11-8, 11-7 while he defeated Anthony Amalraj in Men's singles 9-11, 11-9, 9-11, 11-5, 15-13, 11-8.

Calcutta: England will play five Tests, five one-day Internationals and three Twenty20 Internationals in their 2013-14 Ashes campaign in Australia. While the first Test begins at Gabba on November 21-25, the other Tests will be held at Adelaide (December 5-9), Perth (December 13-17) and Melbourne (December 26-30) and Sydney (January 3-7).
