Doctor allegedly video-graphed while taking bath in Delhi's hotel, FIR filed
In a shocking incident, a doctor has filed a complaint with the police that someone recorded her video while she was taking a shower at a hotel in Delhi .
The complainant, who is in her early 20s and a doctor by profession has alleged that on May 6, she checked-in a hotel at Mahipalpur, Delhi with her male friend. In the afternoon, while she was taking shower, someone was recording her video.
"At around 12:30, I went inside the washroom to take a shower. I heard some noise which sounded like someone was knocking the door. I felt something was wrong. After a few minutes, I looked at the exhaust window of the washroom on my right side and I saw a black thing which looked like a camera or a mobile phone. I got nervous and immediately asked my friend to come and check, he saw someone's hand holding a black phone," alleged the complainant in the FIR.
"In order to check we also enquired out adjacent room where a guy and a girl had checked-in. The exhaust window of that room was connected to my room. When we asked for the phone he started acting as if he was not aware of anything. The hotel manager asked for the phone and when my friend checked his phone, he could find nothing," she added.
Later, police was called and an FIR under section 354 (a)- outrage of modesty, was filed against the unknown person. The girl suspect that the person, who was in the adjacent room may have recorded the video and later deleted it.
According to the police, they are recording statements and are going through the phone records to find out if any video was recorded by the hotel staff or the suspected guest.
