DMK MP Kanimozhi says ‘Elections in Tamil Nadu are about issues & problems’ | Frankly Speaking

In an exclusive conversation with Kanimozhi on, Frankly Speaking, the political spectrum of Tamil Nadu politics has been widely discussed, on the issue of caste, Kanimozhi adds that there should not be caste, Navika Kumar adds that the DMK alliance of Lok Sabha elections of 2019 has tried to appeal to caste and has seen the shift of the vote base from AIADMK to the DMK. As per the data, DMK received 50 percent upper caste votes and AIADMK received 35 percent of upper caste votes. Caste calculations have been part of elections in any state, maybe to a lesser extent in Tamil Nadu but caste did play a big role. She further adds, ‘DMK is not an atheist party.
