THE DIRTY PICTURE moves from strength to strength!

Abid, Glamsham Editorial

After a great first day where Balaji Motion Pictures and Alt. Entertainment's Milan Luthria directed THE DIRTY PICTURE netted 9.54 crore (including dubbed versions) from India, the film saw a 13 percent growth on Saturday as it netted 10.78 crores, once again for all versions. As per Girish Johar, head of distribution and acquisition, Balaji Motion Pictures, the two day NBOC (net box office collection) of THE DIRTY PICTURE is 20.32 crore from India.

The performance of the Naseeruddin Shah, Vidya Balan, Emraan Hashmi and Tusshar Kapoor starrer is all the more creditable because some sources had expected the film to be a one day wonder. And with an even better Sunday, the film is poised to cross 30 crores in just three days. In fact it is a feat which will make even big star cast films proud.

Well, as things stand today the 30 crore (inclusive of release costs), THE DIRTY PICTURE, is all set to be at least a super hit if not a blockbuster. Another feather in the crown for Balaji Motion Pictures, Milan Luthria and Emraan Hashmi, after their super hit ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI.
