Directorate of School Education Invites Applicants for Teachers and Lecturers Posts; Check Website
New Delhi, Feb 19: The directorate of School education (DSEK) has released a notification regarding various posts and invited eligible candidates for the same. Candidates can apply at their official website dsek.nic.in.
The total vacancy for the different posts is 2601. 1590 post is available for teachers and 1011 posts are for lectures. Candidates should have acquired a bachelor’s degree in education (Bed) or master’s degree in education (Med) from a recognised university or institute.
For teachers the selection procedure will be based on their teaching qualifications and for lecturer the selection will be done on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the screening test, MPhil, PhD, NET/ SET and teaching experience.
An examination fee of Rs 100 needs to be paid by the candidates for the registration procedure. Last date to apply for the posts is February 20.

It is based in Jammu & Srinagar and is an autonomous body under the administration of the state government of Jammu and Kashmir. The board gives affiliation to more than 10200 schools across the state and employs 22856 teachers.
