The Sasural Simar Ka actress was trolled earlier when she tied the knot with Shoaib and converted to Islam. And now again, trollers on social media has targeted her for celebrating Eid with him. Well, it all started when Dipika shared a video on her Instagram handle when the Eid fun started with the application of mehendi. And then she shared a picture with Shoaib and captioned it, “My world is filled with happiness because its graced with your love Thank you for being the reason of this glow on my face Thank you for making me Mrs Dipika Shoaib Ibrahim #Eidmubarak #shoaikakieid.”

Soon after these two posts on Instagram, haters started commenting and targeting Dipika for converting her religion. Here are a few screenshots of the comments:

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Dipika said, “Why do I owe an explanation to you for my personal decision? Why do you expect that I will live my life on your terms and conditions? How are you even related to me? Just because I’m an actor and you get to know about my personal life doesn’t give you the right to abuse me or slam me whenever you feel like. Shame on you.” (You May Also Like: Shweta Tiwari And Abhinav Kohli's Couple-Entry At Gold Awards Puts An End To All 'Trouble' Rumours)

Dipika also shared that she doesn’t pay heed to such haters and just blocks them right away. She was quoted as saying, “Where were these so-called concerned people when I was going through a rough patch in my life? So, how the hell they’ve got a right to ruin my image by giving bad abuses or even abusing Shoaib. I pity them that they have so much spare time to write such long hate messages for us.”

Dipika Kakar was humiliated online around their wedding time when she converted to Islam and changed her name to Faiza. Defending the same, Shoaib was quoted as saying, “We are a very liberal family and religion has never played havoc in our lives. Dipika is free to follow whatever religion she wants to — Hindu or Muslim. I love the teachings of Buddhism too. Does that mean I can’t follow it? I celebrate Christmas, so does that mean I’m converting to one or I should start following Christ? Come on, we are living in the 21st century, so let’s live and happily co-exist. Why do we need to make religion barriers to a happy and prosperous life?” (Don't Miss: Rubina Dilaik's First Look From Her 'Mehendi' Ceremony Is Here, Her 'Mehendi' Design Is Stunning)

And when he was asked about the nasty comments on the same, bothered him or their families, he retorted, “Not at all. We knew this would happen. Our relationship based on caste and a lot many other things were always being speculated, hence we got used to it much early. I really feel bad for people who thought these stories and speculations would affect us badly, we proved them wrong.” (Also See: 'Masaan' Actress Shweta Tripathi To Get Married To Her BF On June 29, Reveals Her Wedding Outfit)
