Desi users can’t have enough of the ‘woman yelling at cat’ meme

The mom's reply using the popular meme stole the show online.

If you have been an avid social media user, there is no way you haven't come across the 'Woman Yelling at Cat' meme, something that refuses to die down and resurfaces regularly. Desi Twitterati are currently hooked to the viral meme that originally took social media by storm earlier this year. So much so that even tech-savvy moms are using it on their millennial kids, well, at least if a tweet doing rounds is to be believed.

Twitter user Ujala Arora recently shared a screenshot of a chat with mom, asking what's for lunch. When 'Mummy' replies with Tinde, Arora used the yelling woman meme to justify her anger writing, "Aap ne bola thaa Rajma chawal banayungi with raita (You said you'll be making Rajma Chawal with raita)" with a crying emoji. To which, in much swag, the mother used the nonchalant, famous cat to reply, "Meri rasoi, meri marji (My kitchen, my will)".

Sharing the picture on the micro-blogging site, the user wrote, "Meme just got real guys", leaving netizens laughing online.

Although many were sure it was faked and thought the user used her mom's phone to reply with the meme, they all agreed it was quite hilarious.

Although the meme, which pairs an infamous fight on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills between cast members Taylor Armstrong and Kyle Richards with a picture of a confused looking cat sitting at a dinner table, started doing rounds in June this year, desi meme-makers started to engage in it profusely only recently. Desi peeps may have arrived late, but they have joined the bandwagon with full force, giving quirky twists to the meme using Bollywood references and popular desi meme formats.

From the epic Baahubali fighting scene to SRK and Kajol's iconic poster in DDLJ, Indians on Twitter can't have enough of this meme.
