'Deprived' youth of Gilgit Baltistan demand more universities

Carrying placards and shouting pro-freedom slogans, these university students hope that their voices are loud enough to shake Islamabad from its decades-old slumber. Students of Karakoram University, in illegally occupied Gilgit Baltistan, recently protested against Islamabad, which they accuse of systematically depriving them of higher education. Students say the repressive administration has framed many of them under trumped-up charges, including sedition charges.
