Depression in Bay of Bengal to intensify into cyclonic storm by May 24: IMD

New Delhi, May 23 (ANI): India Meteorological Department (IMD) DGM Mrutyunjay Mohapatra informed that depression on east-central Bay of Bengal will intensify into a cyclonic storm by May 24 morning. “Low pressure area on east-central Bay of Bengal has concentrated into a depression today and it is located about 700 km away from Balasore and Digha. It is expected to move north and north-westwards and intensify into a cyclonic storm by May 24 morning,” said Mrutyunjay Mohapatra.
