"Delta virus has higher capacity to infect," claims new study on vaccine importance

In a new study on the importance of vaccinations, it was concluded that the delta virus is more likely to infect people. The virus is deadlier than the original Wuhan virus, and hence it is extremely important to get vaccinated to protect oneself. The study was conducted at three centres across India, including one in Delhi. It is a collaborative study with scientists from Cambridge Institute of immunology and infectious disease.
