Delta Plus Variant raises alarm across three states; Centre mulls for ramping up vaccination drive

The Delta Plus Variant is now becoming a cause of concern after cases were recorded from three states across the country. While the NDA has termed it a variant of interest, the state governments have termed it as a cause of concern. The three states which have recorded the cases are Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Kerala after 40+ cases have been reported. The Centre has now advised the state governments to take precautionary measures and to ramp up the vaccination drive in the states.
