Delhi is facing a twin crisis which is the rapid spike in the COVID-19 cases and the rising air pollution woes. The pollution woes are worsening every passing day and are adding up to a health emergency. Delhi recorded the highest single-day spike in COVID-19 cases where more than 8000 cases were recorded in the last 24 hours.
The total number of cases in the city stands at 4,59,975. The positivity rate has also jumped to 13.40%. The Delhi High Court has wrapped the Delhi Government over relaxing and easing up norms in the state despite the rising number of COVID cases.
