Violence in Delhi, Delhi CAA Violence Live News: Delhi L-G Anil Baijal on Friday visited riot-affected areas in Northeast Delhi to take stock of situation. The visit comes four days after the violence that left 42 dead. He met locals and appealed for peace and harmony. Meanwhile, the Home Ministry said that no major incident was reported from violence-hit Northeast Delhi in the last 36 hours. The state was issued after Home Minister Amit Shah chaired a high-level meeting to review the situation. The Ministry has proposed partial withdrawal of prohibitory orders on Friday as Northeast Delhi limps back to normalcy. The MHA said that as many as 514 suspects were either arrested or detained for questioning and further arrests would be made in the course of investigation. Meanwhile, the situation remains tense in most parts of the northeast Delhi that witnessed the worst riots in more than three decades.
