Delhi Sikh body chief Manjit Singh attacked in New York

Singh is the president of Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee and spokesperson of the Akali Dal

President of the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) Manjit Singh was attacked in New York by Khalistani supporters in New York.

In a tweet about the attack, he said a group of people attacked him and his relatives in New York. He said such attacks will not scare him from working for his community.


"I have fought and I will fight till my last breath," he said in his tweet.
Singh has also tagged External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj in the tweet, and called the attacked a cowardly act.

Singh is also the spokesperson of the Shiromani Akali Dal.
