Delhi: Random COVID testing to be conducted; AAP mulling 'market shutdown'

As the COVID surge in Delhi calls for dual testing action by the center, a random COVID testing has also been put into action at the Delhi-Noida border and the health departments at the capital are being prepared for adequate treatment. This decision comes after an online meeting of senior administration and health department officials with District Magistrate Suhas LY. Now people travelling from Delhi to Noida will be randomly tested for COVID-19 starting tomorrow with no restrictions on the movement of people between the two regions. This initiative is taken to help curb the cross-border infection after movement between states during the festival times.
