Petrol prices surpassed Rs 100 per litre on Wednesday, following an increase in line with firming international oil trends. According to a price notification from state-owned fuel merchants, the price of petrol has increased by 35 paise per litre and the price of diesel has climbed by 23 paise per litre. Petrol currently costs Rs 100.21 per litre in Delhi, while diesel costs Rs 89.53 per litre. Petrol prices have risen above Rs 100 per litre in Delhi, the last of the metro cities to do so. Prices in Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Pune are already higher than that. Listen in!
