The Delhi Police seeks details from Twitter regarding alleged child pornographic material on its platform that was red-flagged by the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), the country’s apex child rights body. An FIR was registered against Twitter for allegedly allowing access to child pornography on the microblogging platform following a complaint by NCPCR. NCPCR had asked Delhi Police to book the microblogging website after its recent inquiry in which it had found that child sexual abuse material (CSAM) was easily available on the platform.
