Delhi Police installs big nails on roads to stop farmers from crossing Tikri Border

Delhi: In a move that has brought immense criticism from several quarters, the Delhi police on sunday night put up big iron nails on the roads near Tikri Border to prevent farmers from entering in the national capital.

The road cordoned off by the Delhi police near the border was initially dug up and then huge nails were plastered onto it. The basic aim, sources said, was to prevent the pharmacist tractors from entering into the national capital to prevent the Republic Day-like scene in Delhi.

The nail 7 foot upside behind the main stage at the degree border where the farmer seven protesting for the past 65 days, with security heightened many fold since January 26.

Apart from the Delhi Police, several columns of paramilitary forces have been deployed at the border and various of obstruction points have been made to ensure the farmers do not cross the border and jump into the national capital.
