Delhi Police denies farmers permission to protest at Jantar Mantar during Parliament session

Farmers Kisan Sansad: The second attempt was made by the Delhi Police today to persuade farmers organizations to avert a proposed protest outside from the Parliament on July 22 against the three agricultural laws. However, the farmers are not ready to back down. For this, high officials of Delhi Police held a meeting with a delegation of farmer leaders at Mantram Resort near the Singhu border to discuss postponing the protest once again and offer alternative venue for the protest. Farmer leaders Darshan Pal, Shiv Kumar, Balbir Singh Rajewal and other farmer leaders participated in the meeting. The police cited guidelines issued by the Delhi Disaster Management Authority in light of the pandemic.
