Delhi police blocks Rahul Gandhi's march to Rashtrapati Bhavan for farmers; cities COVID

Congress MP, Rahul Gandhi led a march to the Rashtrapati Bhavan. The Delhi police have now blocked the march amid COVID restrictions. Only Rahul Gandhi and two other party leaders were allowed to meet the President. Initially, Rahul Gandhi had planned to march to the Rashtrapati Bhavan along with Congress delegation. However, it was not allowed by the Delhi police.

Congress says a memorandum will be submitted to the President. The party's agenda is to get around 2 crore signatures of the farmers from across the nation. This too will be submitted for consideration. Other leaders are taken by bus to the Mandir Marg. Congress has extended full support to the farmers' protest.
