Delhi police announce cash rewards for information on Deep Sidhu and others

Delhi Police has declared a cash reward of Rs 1 lakh for information on each of the republic day violence accused, which includes Punjabi celebrity Deep Sidhu, Jugraj Singh, Gurjot Singh and Gurjant Singh. These are alleged instigators of the R-Day chaos and have been accused of hoisting flags at the Red Fort.

According to officials, a reward has been announced of Rs 50,000 for the arrest of Jajbir Singh, Buta Singh, Sukhdev Singh and Iqbal Singh each for their alleged involvement in the violence on January 26.

On Republic Day, during the farmers' tractor rally, protesters did not follow the prearranged route and broke down barricades to reach Delhi, clashed with police and vandalised property in several parts of the national capital.
