Navneet Kalra, the owner of multiple restaurants in New Delhi, was arrested and sent into three-day police custody. Involved in the oxygen scam, Kalra was residing at a relative’s home. A few weeks earlier, over 500 oxygen concentrators were raided from restaurants in Khan Market. The police had sought 5 days of police custody, based on the electronic device investigation. To counter investigate, the police have arrested Navneet Kalra. Reports also suggest that the oxygen concentrators which were hoarded were faulty and of bad quality. The scam proved to be a profiteering business. On arrest, Kalra on the other hand, claimed the machines to be for charity. Watch the video to know more!
