Delhi O2 crisis: High Court pulls up Centre over insufficient supply of oxygen to National Capital

The Delhi High Court has come down hard on the Central government over the oxygen crisis persisting in the National Capital. The Centre and the state government were supposed to resolve the issue and the Centre was directed to meet the demands of the Delhi government as far as the oxygen is concerned. The High Court has even threatened a contempt action to the Central government for not supplying the oxygen to Delhi. The National Capital's demand for oxygen is close to 700 Metric tonnes, but the Centre has only been able to provide only 430 Metric tonnes of oxygen. Watch.
