New Delhi Mosque converted into a Covid-19 facility for patients regardless of their religion

New Delhi, May 24 (ANI): While a number of individuals and organisations have stepped up to distribute free meals, NGO’s and religious organisations are taking out sanitisation drives and arranging oxygen cylinders for the needy. Citing an example of religious harmony and contributing to the cause, a mosque in New Delhi city has been converted into Covid-19 quarantine where citizens regardless of their castes, religion or socio-economic backgrounds can be quarantined. Located in the Green Park area of the capital city, this mosque is therefore called as Green Park Mosque by locals. Currently, this quarantine centre is equipped with 10 beds and all medical facilities. Patients will be provided with masks, sanitizers and medicines along with free meals thrice a day. Similarly, Temples, Gurudwaras and other religious places are also making arrangements and taking steps to help the needy amid the pandemic and serve a greater cause.
