Delhi’s migrant workers demand to be sent back home

New Delhi, May 09 (ANI): Around 90 stranded migrant workers staying around Talkatora Road demanded to be sent back to their homes. One of them said, “I don't have any money. My daughter-in-law gave birth to a child 7 days back but she hasn't been able to eat anything" “We first went to Parliament Street Police station from where we were sent to District Magistrate office. When we went there, we were just given a chit with link to some website. We neither have a smartphone nor access to any computer. Where should we go?”, said another migrant worker Vinod. The workers mostly came from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh.
