Delhi’s Lajpat Nagar market closed for violating COVID-19 norms

New Delhi, July 7 (ANI): Delhi government has ordered closure of all shops in Lajpat Nagar’s Central Market and Rui Mandi in Sadar Bazar, Central Delhi over alleged violation of coronavirus norms. “There is no coordination among the market associations. One of the market presidents called the SDM for a market survey. Seeing the crowd, the SDM declared sealed 4/5 shops. He later declared that the market will be closed from 5th July to 11th July”, says a shopkeeper. The market will remain shut until further orders.
