Delhi HC pulls up AAP over shortage of Black Fungus meds; says locals going elsewhere for treatment

The Delhi High Court has once again come down heavily on the state government after an acute shortage of Black fungus drug has been reported in the National Capital. After the oxygen crisis, the Delhi government has now reported a shortage of Amphotericin B, a drug that is used in the treatment of Black Fungus. The HC has slammed the unpreparedness of infra in the National Capital. Further, the Delhi High Court has also stated that due to the lack of medicines and other facilities in the National Capital, the locals are forced to travel to be treated elsewhere. The Centre, on the other hand, has now issued a revised allocation for the Mucormycosis drug.
