Delhi HC issues notice to Centre and UIDAI on traders plea over Aadhar Card fraud

New Delhi. The Delhi High Court has issued notice to the Central Government and UIDAI on a petition filed by a trader seeking a new Aadhar card number and sought a response. A businessman has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court saying that his Aadhar card was used illegally without his permission. His Aadhar card was linked with some foreign institutions. The merchant fears that by misusing his Aadhar card, fraud can be done in the merchant's name. Therefore the door of the court has been knocked on. The court of Justice Rekha Palli, while hearing the matter, issued a notice to the Central Government and the Aadhar card issuing department, UIDIA, asking them to file a reply.
