Delhi: Four college students detained for chasing down Smriti Irani’s car

New Delhi [India], Apr. 1 (ANI): Four men were detained on Saturday for chasing down Union Minister Smriti Irani’s car, when she was crossing Moti Bagh flyover in the national capital.

According to the medical report, the four accused tested positive for alcohol, confirming that they were intoxicated while trying to overtake Union Minister’s car.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) said four college students in a car tried to overtake Smriti Irani’ vehicle, when she was crossing Moti Bagh flyover.

A compliant was received from her staff at Chankayapuri Police Station.

An FIR has been lodged and further investigation is underway. (ANI)
